Was Super Bowl XLVI (46) a nail biter or what?!! I love some good football, a few beers, some Bratwurst hot dogs and close friends/family, it makes Super Bowl extra special for me. Every year we have a Super Bowl party and every year my wife and I take a vacation day to clean up the house and recover!
As Life and Time is what it is- forever moving forward, it’s time to get back to work! I have been working on a concept website for an auto collision and restoration service in Houston Texas using the 960 Grid system. This concept website will deploy Google Analytics, S.E.O., a contact form, javascript, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML.
In the coming weeks I will post the progress on the site. Since a lot of thought went into the site during the sketch phase and the fact the client was helpful in the concept phase, I believe this site will be up fairly shortly with minimal changes and revisions.
Target Sends Letter Vendors Asking for Help to Combat ‘Showrooming’ Comparison Shopping – WSJ.com
Target Corp. is tired of being used.In one of the starkest signs yet that chain stores fear a new twist in shopping, Target is asking suppliers for help in thwarting "showrooming"—that is, when shoppers come into a store to see a product in person, only to buy it from a rival online, frequently at a lower price.

Blog design
I have finally managed to find time to get my blog design looking like the rest of my site. It’s cliche but true… “Job hunting is a full-time job”.
There are some formatting issues I will deal with next as well as implementing some widgets.
Internet service outage
I have not had Internet service since Sunday night. I spent all day Monday trouble-shooting my network and modem to try and resolve the issue myself. Eventually I came to the realization my modem was fried due to the heavy storms we experienced Monday morning. I eventually called AT&T to have them send me replacement Modem.
Actually, my TV was out as well. When we built our house I had the builder install CAT-5 throughout the house. My U-verse receivers utilize my CAT-5 instead of the standard Coax most others use. When my Internet is out, so is my TV service as they use the same network infrastructure.
I have built MANY custom PC’s and set-up and installed complete home networks for many people. I really enjoy getting “my hands dirty” It’s a great opportunity to learn new things and tread new grounds. I have yet to go to the local college and take my A+ Certification eventually I will sign up for the test and take it. Had I not been comfortable with the network stuff, I think I would have paid a good bit of money having someone else come to my house and fix everything.
Anyway, enough babbling, now that I have my Internet service back I can get some work done.
Working on the Blog today
Today, I’m working on recoding this WP Blog to look identical to the rest of the site.
My future plans in order from most important:
